Watch services

Detailed service categories for owners in the Netherlands. Availability and final scope depend on the individual watch, condition and technical assessment.

Condition assessment

Goal: establish the visible and functional condition of a watch before any work is proposed.

Typical activities: exterior inspection, functional checks, review of obvious wear, discussion of known service history and preparation of a preliminary recommendation.

Format: by appointment or agreed intake procedure in the Netherlands.

Mechanical movement service

Goal: address appropriate servicing needs in a mechanical movement.

Typical activities: disassembly where suitable, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly, basic adjustment and functional testing. Replacement parts are only considered where needed and available.

Duration: varies by movement, condition and parts availability; no universal turnaround is promised.

Conservation-focused restoration

Goal: improve usability or presentation while preserving historical character where practical.

Typical activities: discussion of originality, reversible or restrained interventions, case and component review, and documentation of agreed work.

Case and bracelet refinishing review

Goal: determine whether cosmetic work is appropriate.

Typical activities: evaluate scratches, prior polishing, geometry, surface finish and the risk of removing original material. Refinishing is not automatically recommended.

Vintage watch consultation

Goal: help owners understand age-related service considerations.

Typical activities: discuss wear, originality, movement type, dial and case condition, documentation, safe everyday use and realistic service priorities.
